Words on Radio

Good News: CKUA Radio’s Bookmark program has been saved for another year at least. The radio program, which airs Sunday afternoons from 12:30 to 1 p.m., explores Alberta’s literary scene with host Ken Davis. The program was in danger, but fans rallied to provide enough financial support to keep the show alive. And Get Publishing did its part by sponsoring one of the broadcasts. Get Publishing chair Cheryl Mahaffy says our contribution was $650, comprised of $400 from Get Publishing members and friends and another $250 from the organization itself.
